I know some bicyclers who think they have right of way on sidewalks when they in face to not. Though you may be upset that people are not moving out of your way, could they not be upset that you are riding a vehicle amongst pedestrians? Perhaps thinking about others' point of view may help you keep your cool next time you are riding. You are right about the overall point of your article though, people don't like to make decisions. I see this "sheepish" behavior/attitude everyday and it is discouraging. These "sheeple" (love it) remind me of Pink Floyd's "Animals" album, you know, how they define people as dogs, pigs and sheep. They were right on back then and even more so today, IMHO. How bout those people who say "well, there's nothing I can do about it so I'm just going to accept status quo"? Hmmm. I'm sitting in a 2-foot-wide contraption, people! I can no more fit through that 6-inch gap you've 'kindly' left than I can turn into vapour & waft through you. Sitting down for lunch in the city, I witnessed a small group of "Scientology is a dangerous cult" protesters.
