Site Migration complete. Sort of…

This weekend (actually consumed most of the week), I moved HBI to a new server with updated software for things like this blog and our discussion forum, to name but a couple.
It’s running, after a fashion, but it’s on one of those new “cloud computing” hosts, and I’ve had issues with the entire virtual locking up. They’ve patched the kernel and I’m keeping my eye on things to see how it holds up. (It’s been a long, involved and frustrating ride). If this kernel patch doesn’t do the trick, the only other option is to start over again from scratch on a new 64-bit virtual (or give up on this host entirely and start over from scratch with another provider) and I’m really loathe to do that given how much time and effort it would take.
In any case, if you are reading this message, you’ve found your way to the new site.
Now I’m just going to wave a dead rubber chicken around, say a few incantations and pray.
