Short, shameful geeky confessions…

I just love the comics at XKCD. This one in particular speaks to the place where my heart used to be:

And of course this one caused me to laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. The bf came over, looked at it and said, “You really ARE a geek…”

But when he saw this one on existential angst, he looked at me with that look that says, “Ok, the author has YOU pegged.”

When you go to the site, hover your mouse pointer over the images – the “titles” that show up as tool-tips are hilarious.

And for the record, I always call it a “nipple thing“, and I hate it. Give me a touch-pad any day.

Okay, this is totally embarrassing for someone, prolly just me. I’m about as “liberal-arts major” as they come, and I’m LOVING these. (I even got the Fourier one, sorta–in a rudimentary fashion, of course.) I hope he wouldn’t be offended or nuthin’.

My God, I think that YouTube comic alone is enough to make me a fan. YT commenters are the stupidest fucking people on the earth. And believe me, that bit about moon landing conspiratards is the truth; I have a few videos of it there, and all the mouth-breathing bottom-feeders crawl out from under their rocks to vomit in the comments. Which reminds me, it’s time to go verbally assassinate some of them.

I kinda consider myself a baby nerd, because I didn’t discover my computer geekiness until about 2000 and I’m not a programming god[dess], not yet anyway, and I floved this comic strip. My favorite as of yet, though, has GOT to be this one:
