Reminds me of the old Mad Mag parody I've recently read, they can believe that the world of Harry Potter had Dementors that suck out every happy thought and will to live that you have, but they can't believe that the Dementors aren't the wards at schools... Ah! My brain, it hurts! Thank goodness your kids had parents to aid them against the stupidity of the system eh?

My son was suspended from 3rd grade and I had to take off of work to get him back in. His crime? Asking a student teacher how to multiply negative numbers. In class. In front of the principal (who suspended him). I had to verify this twice because I couldn't believe it and thought I missed something. He embarrassed the student teacher because she didn't know the answer. Very well done on not killing anyone at the school. I was brought under judicial review at my old college for notifying the admins that there was a dummy account on the shared drives that gave full access to everyone's folder and that they had a guest account enabled on their webserver. Some people don't like their mistakes being exposed, period. Hell, a movie about this very thing came out, what, OVER twenty years ago, War Games. I say kudos to your son for being curious and "systematic" with his computer skills. My son has been on a computer since the tender age of two. He is now is second grade and the computer lab at his school "bores him" so he says. Bahahahahaha!
